Meet Margaret

Hi, my name is Margaret Vogel, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University and hold a Bachelor’s degree in English and Creative Writing from the College of Charleston.

I have worked in outpatient, inpatient, and in-home settings with children, teens, adults, and couples. My therapeutic approach is humanistic and eclectic, with compassion-focused, existential, and person-centered inspirations. My special interests include neurodivergence, trauma, teens and young adults in transitional stages of life, as well as family-of-origin dynamics and intergenerational patterns.

I believe the therapeutic alliance between a counselor and client is a sacred domain. I also believe that the decision to begin therapy is a radical act of self-love. I am continually moved by the resilience of the human spirit, and by the growth that becomes possible when people feel truly seen, understood, and met with care.

In our work together, I strive to create a space that is grounded and collaborative—one where you are welcome exactly as you are, without assumptions or expectations about who you need to be. This is a place to slow down, explore long-held beliefs and relational patterns, and make meaning of your experiences at your own pace. You deserve the time and space to just be. I am honored to facilitate that process. If you’re feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or simply curious about therapy, you’re welcome here.
